This 1-day course teaches analysts and engineers how to define, elaborate, organise, and manage textual and graphical requirements and requirements-related information. This course specifically uses Global Configurations and project areas with Configuration Management (CM) enabled. Modifications are performed using Change Sets

This course also applies to IBM DOORS Next Generation 6 (DNG) users

Objectives:

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Explain the Configuration Management option
  • Understand and use Global Configurations
  • Create Change Sets, associate them with work items, and deliver changes to a requirements stream
  • View and work with requirements artifacts in a collaborative context
  • Capture, define and elaborate on requirements, including textual and graphical artifacts.
  • Organize artifacts based on artifact context
  • Understand, view and create traceability relationships
